Making More Health receives "Beyond R&D Innovation" Award

As part of Boehringer Ingelheim annual leadership conference held annually and in the presence of the international senior managers, innovative achievements of the company employees were rewarded in a huge ceremony.

Making More Health (MMH) received "Beyond R&D Innovation Award" which was announced by Allan Hillgrove, Corporate Board Division Human Pharma announced on behalf of the Board of Managing Directors.

The reward which was presented for the first time honored commitment outside of research and the continuous efforts to drive and implement health solutions with innovative ideas.

Through disruptive leadership challenges and promoting social entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial thinking, Making More Health connects diverse people and ideas from different sectors all over the world to create a win-win situation.

"There is huge potential for all of us at Boehringer Ingelheim to find new business models, define new partners and recognizing opportunities for sustainable development by fostering innovation under the umbrella of Making More Health." says Manuela Pastore, Global Manager of Making More Health.

"This award is not only for the MMH team but also for all the employees who contribute actively to make more health happen. In addition to those who help to make it a movement inside the company. It's an award also for all stakeholders outside who take social needs in the focus.” she added.

Innovative medicines for people and animals have for more than 130 years been what the family-owned pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim stands for. Day by day, more than 50,000 employees create value through innovation for Human and Animals.
